FTP's Friends & Foundations Network supports folks who are interested in or already involved with their local Friends of the Library or Library Foundation group. The Network meets over Zoom on the 4th Wednesday of the month, from 6:30-8pm ET. Each meeting includes time focused on a specific topic, followed by open discussion on any issues, questions, or ideas folks are interested in getting feedback on. Our goal is to provide ongoing support and resources, and be a place to connect with other people from across the country who are interested in joining these groups and bringing in a leftist perspective. • Topic: Assessing by-laws of Friends and Foundation groups to see how they are supporting or hampering leftist library goals, and identifying what aspects need to be retained, what should be changed, and how to advocate for either.
